Welcome to David Guy Firewood Merchants!

 

We are a fast expanding local firewood business, set in rural Lincolnshire.

 

Operating for over 28 years, owner David Guy started out as a young boy with just a pushbike, pulling behind him a small handmade wooden trailer!

 

Obtaining wood from local farmers and pedalling home to chop the wood by hand with a small axe, he soon developed a keen local interest in his bags of logs which he sold at the front door of his parent’s house!

 

Customers increased over the years it soon became apparent that larger premises would be needed to store & season the wood and expand the business further.

 

Over the next ten years, there were a lot of changes. 2015 has seen the arrival of the new KILN so KILN DRIED FIREWOOD can also be produced.Bigger and better firewood processors have also arrived, making the job a whole lot easier and sped up operations considerably! A welcome addition for sure and hand axes are luckily a thing of the past!

 

A good job really as we now deliver our top quality firewood, coal and kindling across the whole of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. We rely on repeat custom and would not be able to operate unless we were fully confident we could supply premium products.
