We are pleased to announce that David Guy Firewood Merchants are now officially "READY TO BURN"
Some of you may already be aware, but for those who aren’t, in order to help reduce particulate emissions the law has now changed regarding burning firewood from the 1st of May 2021.
Under the new Air Quality Regulations 2020, wood fuel now sold in volumes under 2m3 will need to be certified as Ready to Burn. This makes it much easier for customers to find wood fuels that meet new legal requirements and gives complete confidence in what they’re buying.
After an operations audit, and firewood analysis we are pleased to inform you that we passed with flying colours and have been accredited with our new Ready to Burn certification number.
Our customers can be assured (officially!) that the wood fuel we supply is of premium quality and ready for immediate use.
With so many variations of firewood available on the market today, make sure you always check to make sure your supplier is “READY TO BURN”
